Factory-Direct Manufacturing
Over 25 years of OEM experience. Screen printing, die-cutting, embossing, lamination and assembly run in-house, so you get stable costs and one accountable supplier.
Zhejiang ZIRA Membrane Switch Co., Ltd. designs and builds membrane switches, graphic overlays, silicone rubber keypads, PCB/FPC keypads and display labels to your drawing. Engineers in medical, industrial control, instrumentation, smart-home and telecom companies use our interfaces. Prototyping, tooling, printing, assembly and electrical testing all happen under one roof in Ningbo, Zhejiang.

A switch is only as reliable as the process behind it. Each project follows the same engineering, sampling and test discipline, from a 1-piece prototype to repeat volume orders.
Over 25 years of OEM experience. Screen printing, die-cutting, embossing, lamination and assembly run in-house, so you get stable costs and one accountable supplier.
Our R&D team reviews your stack-up, circuit routing, dome selection and tail design before tooling. This cuts revision rounds and the risk of field failures.
Every finished switch is tested for continuity, insulation and key function, then visually inspected before packing. Branded-grade films and adhesives keep the quality consistent.
Small OEM batches are welcome. We ship worldwide under FOB, CIF, EXW, CIP, CPT or DDP terms and accept T/T, L/C, D/P, D/A and Western Union payment.
We are a combined manufacturer and exporter in the Changhe Industrial Park, Ningbo. We supply custom keypads and front panels to North America, Western Europe, South America, Oceania and the Chinese domestic market. Our annual output value is between US$10 million and US$50 million.
Factory tour · 2 min 10 s The video shows our production floor, printing and assembly lines, and test stations. Your QA team can see first-hand how each membrane keypad is built and checked.
Send us a drawing, a sketch or a competitor's sample. We return a DFM review, a layer stack-up proposal and a working prototype carrying your brand, colors and functional layout.
Every part shown here is custom-built. Size, key layout, graphics, circuit, connector and backlighting are all configured to your application.

Each stage has its own inspection gate, so defects are caught where they start. They are not left to be found at final test or, worse, in your assembly line.

Incoming PET, PC, adhesives and inks are checked against spec.

Artwork, circuit routing and stack-up are confirmed with the buyer.

Screens are exposed precisely for each color and conductive layer.

Graphics, silver circuits and dielectric layers are screen printed.

Controlled curing gives stable ink adhesion and conductivity.

Registration holes keep every layer accurately aligned.

Embossing tools form tactile key shapes and locator rims.

Female, male or ZIF connectors are crimped onto the tail.

Overlay, spacer, domes and circuit are laminated together.

100% electrical and visual test before packing.

| Criteria | Membrane Switch | Silicone Rubber Keypad | Capacitive ITO Touch |
|---|---|---|---|
| Profile | Very thin, flat or embossed | 3-D keys with longer travel | Flat, glass-like surface |
| Tactile feel | Metal or poly dome snap | Soft, cushioned stroke | None (haptic or buzzer optional) |
| Sealing | Excellent with perimeter seal | Good with integrated gasket | Excellent, no openings |
| Backlighting | LED, light guide film, EL | LED through translucent keys | LED icon illumination |
| Tooling | Low (screens, dies, embossing) | Compression mold required | Low to medium |
| Typical use | Medical, lab, industrial panels | Remotes, handhelds, rugged gear | Appliances, smart-home devices |
Values describe typical construction. Actual cycle life, actuation force and sealing depend on the dome, material and stack-up selected for your project.
Many designs can be sampled from 1 piece. Standard production usually starts at 100 pieces. High-volume items such as numeric PET/PC keypads may start at 1,000 pieces.
A dimensioned drawing (DXF, DWG, PDF or AI), the key layout, circuit schematic or pin-out, tail length and connector type, colors (Pantone/RAL), the adhesive or mounting method, and any environmental requirements. A physical sample also works.
Choose a membrane switch for thin, sealed, easy-to-clean panels. Choose silicone for a soft feel and longer key travel. For the best of both, ask about a hybrid silicone-over-membrane design.
Each stage, from printing and drying through positioning and embossing to assembly, has its own inspection gate. Every finished part is then 100% electrically tested and visually inspected.
We accept T/T, L/C, D/P, D/A and Western Union, in USD, EUR, HKD or CNY. Delivery terms are FOB, CIF, EXW, CIP, CPT, DDP or express.
Send us your drawing, sample photos or specification. A project engineer will reply with material recommendations, a stack-up proposal and a sampling plan.
